...being harassed/dogpiled/canceled right now.
There is a comprehensive guide at this Canceled Resources page. A small amount of highlights are posted below with permission from the author.
- →
Prevention Remove identifying information from bios, about pages, recent posts, and carrds. this information can include but is not limited to real names, locations, pronouns, workplace location, orientations, and beyond.
- →
Prevention Remove content warning / trigger lists from easily accessible bios, carrds, descriptions. Sadly, a growing number of harassers actively use these content warnings as keywords (such as incest, or non-con) as a way to find new targets.
- → Prevention Consider migrating text posts/sensitive vents to a platform that has more fine-grained privacy and comment controls such as .. mastodon (short form, most similar to twitter) dreamwidth (long form, most similar to tumblr/LJ) or especially sensitive art to pixiv (images, most similar to deviantART) Twitter (and tumblr to a lesser extent) are unique in that there is a known group of harassers that exists specifically on these two platforms, and actively look for new targets. Moving away from these two sites alone, if possible, will greatly reduce risk of being mobbed.
- → Immediate Action There are two effective ways to respond to a harassment campaign: Ignoring a harassment campaign and not reacting in a way people can tell (staying offline, muting harassers.) Locking down accounts ("privating" your account, activly blocking people.)

About
This site was founded by a kink artist fustrated at the growing hostility to posting works online, and the lack of resources to policy, social, and financial changes. The webmaster prefers to stay anonymous.
This site also focuses on the defense, protection, and preservation of fictional taboo kink art - whether you define it as visual arts, writing, or games. While there are many other organizations that defend more "vanilla" NSFW/softcore erotica or queer art (both which are also censored to different degrees), this site's focus will remain on taboo kink art. Over the years, the webmaster has seen a signifigant effort to erase taboo kink art (lolisho, incest, eroguro, etc) online and offline, and will defend its right to exist to the very last.
