• → Prevention Consider migrating text posts/sensitive vents to a platform that has more fine-grained privacy and comment controls such as .. mastodon (short form, most similar to twitter) dreamwidth (long form, most similar to tumblr/LJ) or especially sensitive art to pixiv (images, most similar to deviantART) Twitter (and tumblr to a lesser extent) are unique in that there is a known group of harassers that exists specifically on these two platforms, and actively look for new targets. Moving away from these two sites alone, if possible, will greatly reduce risk of being mobbed.
